On behalf of the organising committee, I would like to invite you to join a select group of business leaders in a by-invitation-only ‘Stars and Hearts Charity Art Jam’ event on 26th July 2014 at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
I am pleased to announce that Mr Teo Ser Luck, Minister of State, Ministry of Trade & Industry, will attend the occasion as guest-of-honour. This exclusive fundraising and networking event, held in support of the Rotary Wish Project, will revolve around the themes of art, joy, and community—it will feature a guest artist from Germany who will engage participants in a unique and interactive ‘art jam’ experience. As tickets to the fundraising event are limited, we have carefully curated the list of invitees to ensure our corporate participants will have the opportunity to engage fruitfully in a convivial setting.
Why are we doing this?
You and I will not experience death in a similar manner. Our deaths will be as unique as our lives and personal experiences, but no one should live the final days of their life journey with unfinished business. The Rotary Wish Project aims to fulfill the dying wishes of terminally ill adults and it is the only initiative of its kind in Singapore that embraces the most underprivileged segment of society not currently covered by any governmental or charity organizations.
You may wish to know that the ticket price of S$250 is a tax-deductible donation (2.5 times the amount donated).
