Dear Rotarians of District 3310,
It gives me great pleasure to invite my fellow Rotarians in District 3310 to register for the PETs & District Assembly 2013. Being the first time my club, Rotary Club of Bugis Junction (RCBJ) is organizing such an important event for the District; the Organizing Committee are both excited and eager to welcome and meet all attendees at the PETs & District Assembly 2013 which will be held from 14-17 March 2013.
Zon Regency Hotel located in Johor Bahru has been chosen to be the venue for this event. A familiar venue to most of you, Zon Regency Hotel will provide the platform for Rotarians to learn and be updated about Rotary. Of course this will be a good opportunity for networking with fellow Rotarians. In particular, Rotarians chosen by their clubs to lead them in 2013/14 will come together during these few days to be trained and equipped with the necessary Rotary knowledge and procedures to prepare them for Club leadership.The PETs training program had been meticulously planned by DGN Andre Suharto to provide President-Elects and Club office bearers with both an engaging and rewarding time during the training proper. The District Assembly will have inspirational speakers and interesting workshops/ discussions for Rotary-related matters.
DGE Chew Ghim Bok had entrusted RCBJ with the organization of this event and the Organizing Committee had worked hard to come up with interesting programs to make this event a memorable one. Rotary Club of Johor Bahru who were the organizers of DA 2012 were also roped in to make sure DA2013 will be a well-organized event and Rotarians will enjoy good fellowship and have a fulfilling and enjoyable time at the event.
Led by in-coming District First Lady Phyllis Wong, the organizing committee for the Spouses Program has alsoplannedinteresting programs for spouses and family members. With new attractions in Johor Bahru like the LEGOLAND and shopping opportunities at Johor Premium Outlets, Rotarians are encouraged to bring along their families for the DA2013.
