Dear Rotarians,
1. You will be pleased to know that our donation drive has hit RM480,000,
with RC Singapore North contributing S$4,600 and RC Singapore East
adding another S$700. Well done.
2. Yesterday, PP Jimmy Ooi and local Cebu Rotarians visited Bogo City
at the northern tip of Cebu Island and help distributed relief goods.

3. Well, I was back to Cebu yesterday and met up with DG Edgar of D3860
(centre in photo) and some Cebu Rotarians to follow up on activities there.
4. President Robin of RC Cebu told me the 10 units water filtration system from
Singapore will arrive by air afterall, today. These will be further touched
up in Cebu before deployment by ship to Leyte and Samar. I hope to see the system
installed and commissioned on the few sites while I am still here.
5. Well, I understand that D3310 will TT USD10,000 each to RC Tacloban and RC Ormoc today. I will make known to these two clubs that the funds will be used for school rebuilding/reroofing ONLY. Local folks want the school to start as soon as possible.
6. And I will go back to Tacloban tomorrow to monitor progress and
hope to participate in some relief activities planned for the weekend too.
