Dear Presidents & Fellow Rotarians,
We have started off very strongly with 1,808 members and to-date we have 2,055 members. I wish to thank you for the hard work and excellent team spirit for this achievement.
Our district had a target of 300 new members for this term. To-date, we have achieved 247. What a fantastic number! 247 means we have been working 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
We only need 53 more new members which is less than 1 per club to reach our target of 300 new members.
But, are we going to stop at that? RI expects all districts to have at least 2,700 members. I wish to challenge ourselves for the next 50 days to achieve and exceed our target of 2,100 in membership growth. The challenge is as follows:
DISTRICT 3310 FINAL DASH – GOVERNOR’S SILVER JUBILEE MEMBERSHIP AWARD
Challenge Date: 12 May 2016 – 30 June 2016
Criteria: NEW members registered according to RI records from 12th May until 30th June, 2016.
GOLD Award: 3 or more new members
SILVER Award: 2 new members
BRONZE Award: 1 new member
The Club President will be given a special certificate + a special mystery gift for this special award (this is an additional award on top of the current District award for membership development)
My dear friends, we have walked far and worked hard together for the last 10 months. LET’S NOT STOP HERE!. We shall not underestimate the power of the eleventh hour. It is not over until it is over! Let’s work together to help the District achieve the benchmark set by Rotary International.
I hope every single club in our district will join in this last dash as a dedicated member of a great team.
