Overview:
In this month of Vocational Service, Rotary Club of Tanjong Pagar recognised the dedication and contribution of Wendy Goh and Wong Yong En in managing Dignity Mama Stall in Ng Teng Fong hospital selling recycled books at a minimum price to the community. In this way, they are saving the environment by recycling the books to different readers and encouraging people to rediscover the joy of reading hard-copy books. Dignity Mama Stall provides gainful employment to beneficiaries with special needs, learning how to work in the stall and manage the cashier. Their muffins they sell are also very yummy.
