Overview:
The 12
th edition of Kota Kinabalu Jazz Festival was held on the 9 & 10 March, 2018. Money raised from ticket sales is used to fund various community projects of Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu. The KKJF 2018 featured well-known singers Sybil Thomas and Rozella, Italian group Mezzotono, local groups Jumero, Shangri-La, The Esthers, Alu Alu Project, Albino Deers, The Movement and finger style guitarists Christopher Alban and Andrew Ngew. TV personality Daphne Iking was the MC.
The Rotarian team led by Past President Jack Ong and, and the SParKS team led by Roger Wang ensured the success of the 2-day event that was graced by the Hon State Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, YB Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun. The Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu thanks all its sponsors, particularly, Yayasan Sime Darby, Sabah State Tourism Ministry and Sabah Tourism Board, Carlsberg, Sutera Harbour Resort, all the F & B vendors and the media for their consistent support to make the event a success.
