RC EClub of 3310, RC Marina City and Namaste World Foundation collaborated and supported the first Food Wastage program by serving 5,000 Meals at City Square Mall. 1,500 kg of mixed vegetables were rescued from wholesale market, washed, cut and then cooked. Kampong Cafe was able to turn all these into 5,000 meals.
Thanks go to Lai Eng & Michael Ong from Kampong Cafe for inviting us to collaborate and support this awesome program . This is our initiative to kick start a national movement on reducing food waste in Singapore.
