Cataract Detection Camp at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Kota Kinabalu

Overview: Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu together with the Rotary Club of Tanjung Aru jointly organized a Cataract Detection Camp under the Global Grant Project (1642940), Gift of Sight Sabah, on Sunday 4 March 2018. The Camp was held at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Kota Kinabalu. Fifty nine patients registered for eye examination and eleven were detected to have cataract. All patients were referred to Hospital Queen Elizabeth for further investigations. Eye operations, if necessary after these investigations confirm cataract, will be fully sponsored by the funds from the Global Grant.
