Birthday celebration of our most senior member Past President Datuk Aaron Liew and Ladies Night:
The spouses’ night was held on Monday 29 Jan, 2018. Club members also celebrated the 86th birthday of our senior-most member Past President Datuk Aaron Liew who arrived with Datin Shiew Sien to participate in the dinner. Datuk Aaron has been a member of the Club since 1967 i.e. 51 years.
The occasion was marked by much warmth and bonhomie and saw the participation of many senior and excused members along with newly inducted members.
Chairman Rotarian Paul reported on the Beaufort Cataract Surgery Program while Vocational Director Paul Foronda reported on the Kiau Kids Bird Festival. Past President Tengku Adlin in a brief address gave encouraging comments about the Bird Guide training project and extended support on behalf of Sabah Parks. President Ravi showed pictures of both events.
