Overview:
Bakat Interact is an annual music and dance competition organized by the Club with all Interact Clubs in Kota Kinabalu as participants. Now into its twentieth year, the Competition is marked by intensely rehearsed Band and Dance performances by teams of Interactors. Bakat is very popular and invariably attended by a huge audience of secondary school students who boisterously support their teams with loud cheers. This year Bakat was slightly muted, due to it being held in the fasting month of Ramadhan and also some schools having exams. Interactors from six schools participated – All Saints, La Salle, Lok Yuk, St Francis Convent, Stella Maris and KK High School. All performances were of a very high standard. St Francis Convent (Band) and La Salle (Dance) emerged as winners. The entire event was ably managed by Youth Director Cheong Kok Ann. President Ravi distributed the prizes to the winning teams.
