Overview:
On Thursday 16 November, Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu facilitated the annual Back to School Program, funded by Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD). This year YSD approved an amount of
RM 161,905.00 to sponsor
1,658 students from 17 schools, 16 in Sukau, Kinabatangan District and one in Batu Sapi, Sandakan. The YSD team was led by Cik Muja while the RCKK team was led by President Dr Ravi and consisted of Secretary George Taitim, the principal coordinator of the program, President Elect Philip Koh, Past President Patrick Chin and spouse Margaret and Rotarian Danny Wong. Secretary George was MC for the entire program which also featured a quiz cum animation show by Cik Clarice of Danau-Girang Centre. The event was held at the Dewan of Kg Sukau.
