Overview:
Siah Jui Din @ Chai Yu Sin is an iconic staff member who served in the Jesselton Hotel almost since its inception in the 1950s and became synonymous with this historic hotel – one of the oldest in Kota Kinabalu. He has since retired from his profession. Mr. Siah was in service throughout the 1960s and 1970s when our Club held its weekly meetings there and remembers many Rotarians of the previous generation who are no more with us.
Past President Frankie Fu proposed that our Club should honour Mr. Siah with our Annual Vocational Award for 2017-18. The Award of RM 1000 together with the certificate was presented on Monday 4 Dec 2017 by President Dr Ravi witnessed by PP Frankie Fu and other members in attendance.
