Dear Rotarians,
Well, pursuant to the approved district resolution -- in the next paragraph, sub-section c -- I have been tasked to make an announcement to invite applications from Rotarians in the District for Incoming DG Philip to consider appointing another member to the District Training Committee 2015-16.
In the last district conference that was held in Kuching 2015, the resolution was passed and approved unanimously as follows:
“Whereas the District has adopted a resolution on the appointment of a District Trainer ( see resolution 16 recorded at the District Conference held on 6th March 2003 and subsequently amended at the District Conference held on 13th November 2009).
It is hereby resolved:
“The Board shall appoint a Training Committee consisting of 3 qualified and knowledgeable Rotarians to conduct all the training requirements of the District:
a) The First Rotarian is to be appointed for 3 years, the second for 2 years and the third for 1 year.
b) The member serving the last year shall be the principal trainer.
c) Each year, the Incoming Governor shall appoint another member for 3 years to replace the outgoing member.
The training team shall work under the supervision of the Incoming Governor in cooperation with the Executive Director.
The Board shall further appoint a senior, knowledgeable Past District Governor for 3 years to act as advisor to the team. Members of the team shall serve a maximum of 3 years.”
Interested Rotarians are first to submit your brief profile, together with a passport-sized photograph, to me by 15 July 2015. Experienced Rotarians from the relevant industry are much welcome to participate.
