Dear Rotarians
It is my pleasure to inform you that the 63rd Rotary Club in D3310 and the 22nd Rotary Club in Singapore is officially chartered by Rotary International on 18th May 2015 with 25 charter members.
The charter president is James Gomez.
Please join me to welcome the new club and their charter members into the world of Rotary where many ordinary people do extra ordinary things without expecting favour in returns.
I want to thank James for his dedication in initiating the formation of the new club and as well my thanks to the Governor’s Special Representative PP Henry Tan together with support from district current and incoming membership chair, PP Lai Bou Leong and AG Mohan.
Much thanks also go to incoming DG Philip, DGN Michael Yee and PDG Datuk Hj Zainie for coming up with the suggested name.
This is just the beginning. The support and guidance to everyone in this club is still required. As such, in addition to the Governor’s Special Representative, I have appointed Lai Bou Leong and Mohan as the advisors to the club which has been accepted by James Gomez.
