Subject: Report re US$14,000.00 Donation
Dear Dr. Ho and D3310,
First of all, allow our Club to convey our heartfelt gratitude for the prompt humanitarian response your District3310 has extended to us.
Acting pursuant to our Memorandum of Agreement, our Club had devoted the funds for the repair/re-construction of public elementary school buildings. These repairs were undertaken at Barangay Camansihay Elementary School, Tacloban City. A remote village in the northern part of the city with more or less 600 school children.
The repair budget covered the following: materials, labor, handling, utilities and rental of equipments, especially for the generator because there was no electricity yet at the time of the repair/re-construction.
The cost of materials was noticeably high given the economic situation in our place.
There are three (3) school buildings covered by the funds. (1) one unit 1-room school building; (2)  one unit 2-room school building; and (3) one unit school stage. The school administrator pleaded that we also repair their school stage so they can use it for their graduation. True enough, we were able to finish its repair in time for their graduation. And they are forever grateful to your District 3310 for such kind and timely assistance.
Should you require us for the detailed estimate by our contractor, we shall gladly send them to you.
Dr. Ho, President Joel and I wish to express to you our personal salute for your courage and determination in coming to our City during such period of chaos and distress. Your presence gave us hope and the resolve to continue rendering service above self.
Thank you very much D3310!
Yours in Rotary,
