Dear Rotarians,
I am pleased to share with you that PP John SY Tan of RC Tanjung Pagar is the recipient of the prestigious R.I. Service Above Self award, 2013.
It is Rotary’s highest honour for individuals, recognizing him who has displayed exemplary humanitarian service with an emphasis on personal volunteer efforts and active involvement
in helping others. Not more than 150 are given in any one year, worldwide.
As a young Rotarian in my early days, he has been my mentor as he generously guides me through with his many valuable leadership skills and Rotary passion. And I am eternally indebted.
