CALLING FOR ROTARIANS TO JOIN THE 26TH PAN BORNEO INTER CLUB MEET

Kuching, 15 to 17 November 2013


The Rotary Club of Kuching Central is indeed very honoured to be given this opportunity to organise the 26th Pan Borneo Inter Club Meet in Kuching, Sarawak.

The Pan Borneo Inter Club Meet is a unique event in Rotary District 3310 as it brings together all the Rotary clubs in Sarawak, Sabah, Brunei Darussalam & Labuan F. T. as well as any other interested Rotary clubs in our District and other Districts to a gathering of fun learning and entertainment. At the same time, we Rotarians can do good in the world by implementing a meaningful project that can benefit our local community.  After all, Rotary is service through fellowship.

Pan Borneo Inter Club Meet Project

In 2012, the Rotary Club of Kuching Central staged a musical concert to raise funds for a project to refurbish an old and unused flats within the compound of the Sarawak General Hospital, and an old site building at the Sarawak Heart Centre, Samaharan.

The Venue

Grand Margherita Hotel, where you will be treated like royalty, is Sarawak's first international hotel. Situated along our backyard is the 1.7km stretch of scenic Kuching Waterfront where fitness enthusiasts enjoy their morning jogs and evening strolls.

 

 

 

The History

The Pan Borneo Inter-Clubs Meet started in 1984 as an intercity meet for the Rotary Clubs in Kuching, Sibu and Miri in Sarawak, East Malaysia, which were then under Rotary International District 330 Group 11.
